After more than ten years since the release of the first game and receiving countless requests for a sequel, Creative Assembly has announced a follow-up to the survival horror space game Alien: Isolation.
In a post on Twitter reminiscing about the first game and how it was a “dream project brought to life by an amazing team,” Creative Director Al Hope said that the studio “heard the cries for help loud and clear.” The sequel is currently in early development stages and more details will be revealed when the team is ready.
Alien: Isolation was released in October 2014 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. The game is set 15 years after the first film and follows the story of Amanda Ripley as she ventures to Sevastopol to search for her mother. Unfortunately, she encounters a cunning Xenomorph that relentlessly hunts her, unlike other enemies, it cannot be killed, making stealth and evasion the only options.
