Each copy includes four collectible postcards to attract fans to the holiday spirit. This version is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC starting today.
Each postcard features new artwork in black and white with splashes of red, all inspired by the original Dr. Seuss book, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Long-time fans will recognize key iconic scenes from the original story, which have been reimagined in these beautiful new collectibles, including:
- The moment the Grinch, disguised as Santa, tricks Cindy Lou into taking her Christmas tree
- The beginning of the scheme, where the Grinch ties antlers to his loyal dog Max
- The Grinch outlining his plan to steal all of Who-ville’s presents, showcasing his distinctive sly smile and bold red twisted lines that reinforce his deceptive shiny idea
- Who-ville’s home fully decorated for Christmas joy, from a shimmering Christmas tree and wreaths to gifts of all sizes. Upon closer inspection, fans will see the familiar green Grinch stretching from the chimney to the stockings
The Grinch: Christmas Adventures is a 2D adventure and platformer game where players take on the roles of the famous Grinch and his dog Max in a local co-op two-player game, as they travel through three stunning locations – the Grinch’s cave, the countryside, and Who-ville on their mission to ruin Christmas. Collect puzzle pieces to unlock new abilities to aid in missions, including a Santa suit, a skateboard, and a candy cane.
The Grinch brand has over 65 years of history; the book was first published in 1957, written and illustrated by Dr. Seuss, evolving over the decades to remain a beloved Christmas tale. Through books, a whole world has been created, providing a global platform for The Grinch through movies, musicals, celebrity collaborations, fashion, and more. The Grinch: Christmas Adventures is a modern retelling of the classic Christmas tale and the first video game title in 16 years.
