Yes, it’s true, the game Silent Hill 2 will reward you if you decide not to embark on the adventure and abandon “Mary” and retreat from the beginning.

According to an editor’s experience at Automaton, who decided to choose the easy way out, by turning right and attempting to leave Silent Hill through a rural road where the game gives you an invisible wall that James can cross alongside an achievement/trophy in return.
The player who chooses to retreat from the adventure will be awarded an achievement/trophy named “No Turning Back Now” with the description “Attempt to leave Silent Hill in the Observation Platform area”.
A great move from the psychological horror game for those who do not want to embark on the adventure and dive into the eerie fog of the silent city, but it is absurd to pay $70 or $80 to retreat. But through our experience with it, we are sure that you will have an unforgettable adventure.
