Bethesda has released the first expansion for Starfield game, now available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. The expansion adds a narrative storyline to the game, available in Premium and Constellation editions of the sci-fi fantasy RPG.
The standalone price of the expansion is $29.99, with a $3 discount for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
The new expansion takes players on a journey to the world of House Va’ruun to uncover the mysteries surrounding the followers of the Great Serpent cult.
Regarding the size of the expansion, the game director Todd Howard compared it to the Far Harbor expansion for Fallout 4.
Players must complete the main quest of the base game before playing the new expansion called One Small Step. While players of all levels can access the expansion, Bethesda recommends a level of 35 and above for the best experience with the new expansion.
Additionally, Bethesda has released update version 1.14.70 with new details and fixes. Game director Howard mentioned that Bethesda plans to release annual story expansions for the game.
