Sony officially confirms the rumors by announcing that the next PlayStation State of Play event will be held tomorrow.
For weeks now, rumors have been circulating that Sony will host a PlayStation State of Play event at some point in March 2022. Now Sony has confirmed these rumors and revealed that the next PlayStation State of Play event will take place on Wednesday, March 9, exciting fans about what they can expect to see.
According to Sony, the PlayStation State of Play event on Wednesday, March 9 will include reveals and updates for PS4 and PS5 titles. The presentation will be around 20 minutes long, with a “special focus” on upcoming games from Japanese publishers.
However, there will also be updates on games developed by developers in other places around the world as well.
Sony has refrained from confirming any specific games for the broadcast, but has said there will be no PlayStation VR2 games or hardware announcements during the event.
State of Play returns this Wednesday, March 9. Tune in at 2 PM PT for about 20 minutes of PS4 & PS5 first looks and updates, with a special focus on games coming from our Japan publishers.
