Xbox Cloud Gaming is a service available to anyone with a Microsoft account, allowing you to play a few selected games through the internet browser. One of the best things about Xbox Cloud Gaming is the availability, as you can use this service on an Android or iOS device.
Although Xbox Cloud Gaming is available for Android users, we still recommend downloading the Epic Games app from the Google Play Store or the Samsung Galaxy Store if you have an Android phone, as this process is much less hassle.
To use Xbox Cloud Gaming, you need to visit Xbox.com/play and log in to your Microsoft account. Once logged in, you can choose Fortnite and add the game to your home screen.
This will create an app icon on your home screen, allowing you easy access to any of Fortnite’s different modes and playing them.
Keep in mind that if you are using Xbox Cloud Gaming, you will need a strong internet connection as the game is streamed directly on your web browser.
Additionally, you may notice that none of your cosmetic items, such as skins, have been transferred to this service. To display your cosmetics in the game, you will need to link your Epic Games account to your Microsoft account, allowing your progress to be transferred.

How do I start playing Fortnite on GeForce NOW?

If I start playing Fortnite on GeForce NOW, will my progress transfer from other platforms?
Yes! You just need to make sure your NVIDIA account is linked to the same Epic account you use on other platforms. To link your Epic account to your NVIDIA account, first log in to your NVIDIA account on your computer, Mac, or the web, then click on connected accounts’ box in the MY LIBRARY section or go to SETTINGS > CONNECTIONS > Epic Games > CONNECT.
Once your accounts are linked, you will automatically log in to Fortnite using your Epic account when starting Fortnite on GeForce NOW. Your progress will also transfer to other platforms using your Epic account.
If you are a minor, you may need permission from your parents to link the accounts.
