After the initial release of FC25 game, it started gaining wide popularity despite the full version not being released until September 27. Modifications began on the game to fix bugs with the first update released yesterday on September 25.
Although this update is not very big, it does bring some changes to the game and fixes the issues that players have reported. This allows for more updates and major modifications to be released.
As mentioned in the first patch notice for the game, which is available for download on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, the update addresses three things.
For the Ultimate Team mode, “players could freeze on the goals screen when transitioning from the store window.” Also, the “game performance issue after penalty kicks” has been fixed.
It seems that the game is affected by player celebrations after missing a beat. As for the other fix, it targeted the “game performance issues after viewing game scenes or tournaments.”
While the fixes are good, players, as they have said on Twitter and Reddit, are looking forward to more updates and fixes as they still encounter some issues with accessing the 10-hour trial period of the game offered by the developer before releasing the full version. EA is currently working on this as they have temporarily addressed the issue, but it’s not sufficient.
Another issue that has emerged is the secondary button pressure problem, where the player remains stuck at a certain speed and direction without being able to change it. This occurs when pressing the RB or R1 button. And it seems that EA will not address the issue until the initial release stabilizes.
