The Bloodborne PC Remaster project is being developed with great attention to detail, as shown in a new video shared online this week.
The project developer fromsoftserve is carefully modifying the game, showcasing in a new video the extent of the changes made to the title by adding lights to candles and explaining how the game displays point lights and the performance impact of these changes.
The video also shows some improvements made to Yahar ‘gul Unseen Village, performance concerns, and how to mitigate the impact of these improvements on performance.
The remaster project of Bloodborne has become possible thanks to the amazing improvements made to the ShadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator. In just a few months, the emulator has transformed from merely running the game to running it with enhanced resolution and performance, and even being able to run it on an old device with a GTX 960 graphics card with only 2GB of VRAM.
The emulation is not 100% perfect, but it won’t be long before you can finally experience Bloodborne properly on PC, something that Sony doesn’t seem interested in offering so far.
