After 10 years since the release of the game Alien developed by Creative Assembly, Creative Director Al Hope confirmed that a sequel to the game is in development, which will likely be titled Alien: Isolation 2.
The first part of the game Alien: Isolation was released in 2014 and was developed by Creative Assembly studios, and achieved great success due to its terrifying atmosphere and immersive gameplay that mimics the original film, receiving positive reviews from both critics and players who praised the artistic design, sound effects, and artificial intelligence of the alien creature.
Returning to the roots with Alien: Isolation 2
Creative Director Al Hope said in a post on the official game page on the X platform:
“When we started developing Alien: Isolation, we had one guiding principle: to create an original experience that returns to the roots of the Alien series – a new story that embodies the atmosphere and terror of the original 1979 film.”
Hope expressed his great joy in announcing that the development team has officially started working on the second part of Alien: Isolation, after witnessing the players’ passion for the first game over the past years, while also mentioning that the game is still in its early development stage.
The full name of the game, release date, or any other details have not been revealed yet, and all that is known is that more details will come from the developing studio when the time is right.
